20 April 2016
Version 2.0 is finally here! Changes include:
August 2015 - Februari 2016
No more updates were added to the icons database for the remainder of 2015. The quickly hacked together back-end was starting to age and made it difficult to maintain the website, a complete overhaul of the site was needed, but life decided otherwise.
In February of 2016 coding for the new site finally started as an on again, off again thing (spare time was still scarce), in April coding was finally done and V2 launched.
10 July 2015
Build 10166 was released, 12 changes were added to the database.
22 June 2015
Due to popular demand, a button was added to the page of build 9600 (Windows 8.1 RTM) that shows all icons that still aren't updated.
18 June 2015
Build 10147 was released, 132 changes were added to the database.
25 May 2015
Since the initial Insider build was released in October 2014, I have checked every new build for updated icons and posted the changes
Build 10125 updated 250 icons, the biggest update yet, so I quickly threw this site together.
This initial site was rather basic and largely unautomated, the back-end wasn't even an actual database. It only tracked icon changes in Shell32.dll and Imageres.dll.
Icon downloads were added later that day.
